The Provincial Chambers were established in terms of clause 12 of the SSSBC Constitution.
The Provincial Chambers may negotiate on any matters of mutual interest on which the Provincial Commissioner has the power to make a final decision. These powers are limited to the Province for which the relevant Commissioner is appointed.
The Council has nine Provincial Chambers that are administered by Chamber Officers.
