The parties to the Safety and Security Sectoral Bargaining Council Encompasses the State as the Employer and its Employees in the South African Police Services in terms of: The South African Police Act The Public Service Act And the two (2) Trade Unions who fall within the registered scope of the SSSBC.

The Origin Of The SSSBC
The Safety and Security Sectoral Bargaining Council (SSSBC) was established in terms of Resolution 12/98 of the PSCBC. The SSSBC is a result of the amalgamation of the National Negotiating Forum (NNF) and the Department of Safety and Security Departmental Bargaining Council.
